Dear friends, it’s hard to share this, but we have to. Despite all our efforts we have to announce that we are going to postpone again our competition. The Italian government decided to not allow a touristic permit between Italy and Cape Verde (and other extra EU destinations), this means that all the athletes leaving for Italy, the volunteers, and us from the organization would have to quarantine after coming home. Something, as you can imagine, not possible due to job and family reasons.
As per last year we tried till the last second, but everything turned against us, and because our first priority is to deliver a great experience to you, your family and our volunteers, this year doesn’t seem achievable.
As promised all the registration’s fees will be reimbursed (or moved to 2023, as you prefer).
But no fear, dear friends, the “ultratrail” mindset is in our blood, and despite all the adversities we already started working on the next year competition, and soon we’ll let you know dates and news.
We are deeply sorry that we won’t be able to run together this year, but we are looking at 2023 with courage, and we are certain that it will be the year to come back together, and be happy with sport and smiles!
